It's been a while since my last post. I had to go out of town for some family stuff and have been dealing with a lot. It hasn't been the best couple of weeks but now things seem to be looking up again. But hey, that's life right?

A Leopard Never Changes It's Spots

Animal Kingdom

I love animal print. I don't just mean leopard and zebra but actual prints of animals. I have stuff with monkeys, birds, tigers, elephants, giraffes and my latest find was an abstract panda face sweater. My husband and I just recently celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. We spent the day at the San Diego Zoo. Of course I flipped out over the monkeys and giant turtles. And I told Chris that when we get a house I'm getting a giraffe, a rhino and a panda. Besides being our wedding anniversary, that day was important because that was the beginning of the "news" I've been waiting for. I'd been waiting for their phone call and had to take it. So, I had my first informal interview at the zoo while an elephant started to trumpet behind me. What a way to make a first impression.

Somebody posted this and I thought it was funny:
