In The Trenches...

I saw Lucy Hales's character wear a floral trench coat on Pretty Little Liars last season and desperately wanted to acquire one for my wardrobe.  Hers was from Anthropologie and it sold out very quickly. So I decided to make a couple of my own.

Quick post today...gotta get back "in the trenches" to finish my orders. (ba dum bump)

Between The Lines

It's Monday. That's all I have to say today. hahaha. But seriously, this weekend went by way too fast.  I spent most of it slaving away in my sweatshop because I have several projects and orders right now. It's a bit overwhelming but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right?  Thank heaven for Chris right now. He keeps me sane in the midst of all my craziness. He knows me better than anyone ever has and definitely reads between the lines when I say "I'm fine".  He makes me take a breather and pulls me out of my head.

One day at a time....till Tuesday my friends.

What's Your "S" Factor?

Saturday was National Dance Day and I was lucky to celebrate it at Sheila Kelly's S Factor in Los Angeles with a special strip tease/lap dance extravaganza. I used to take classes regularly and I was level 2 so I was just beginning to learn some awesome pole tricks. Unfortunately, I had to stop and Saturday night just reminded me how much I missed it.  Besides being a really fun and awesome workout, S factor is a very freeing experience. Easy Breezy Florals

Today was my last day of work before my much anticipated 4 day weekend for 4th of July. I really didn't want to put much effort into anything because my mind was already on vacation from the minute I woke up.  I threw on this dress and jacket and pulled my hair back into a bun and voila....I was ready in 20 min.  Easy breezy and done.

Stop And Smell The Roses...

Time is really flying lately.  I can't believe it's mid-June already. I feel like the year just started. In the hustle and bustle of daily life and in constantly trying to "get somewhere" I often forget to just take a few minutes to appreciate life in the present instead of looking too far ahead in the future.  I read this in an article from my high school newspaper and the words have stuck with me over the years.  "The best times and the best people just come.  While you're anxiously searching you'll never find them."

Tomorrow will be today soon enough and right now especially, it comes way too quickly, so just take a minute to stop and smell the roses.....
