Flying High

People always tell me that I've got my head in the clouds and that I have these big lofty dreams which only sets me up for disappointment. But I don't look at it that way. I figure if I set my goals really high and let's say I only get halfway there, I would be thrilled with what I accomplished. And if I get it all, I might pass out from the shock and excitement.  It definitely takes a lot of hard work and causes more heartbreak than any human being should ever subject themselves to but I will never stop trying. That said, I've got some dresses to work on this weekend to give to one of Hollywood's top 25 celebrity stylists for his beautiful client. Fingers crossed she wears one of them!

Get Your Ducks in a Row

I have been so scatterbrained lately. I've got my full-time day job, my full-time sweatshop trying to get my line off the ground, a couple of big projects and then trying to have a normal balanced personal life on top of all that, no wonder I'm exhausted and having trouble focusing. I've got to get my ducks in a row and start prioritizing otherwise nothing will get done. Battle plan starts tonight with a full night of sleep haha.

Birds of Paradise

I fell in love with this fabric and decided to make a really pretty flowy summer dress. The print and the bright colors make me think of a tropical paradise.  I started daydreaming about where Chris and I should go on our next vacation.  I would love to go to Bali to see the Monkey Forest.  It's literally a forest of Monkeys and the number one rule is to never go into the Monkey Forest without monkey food. Sounds like the rules of my house, haha.
